The Boston Bruins and defenseman Matthew Irwin have agreed on a one-year contract worth $800,000, the team announced Friday.
Irwin, 27, played in 53 games for the San Jose Sharks during the 2014-15 season, posting eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points, including a plus-3 rating.
