The Bruins made a bit of a surprising announcement today: they've signed University of Minnesota-Duluth forward Karson Kuhlman to a two-year contract.
Kuhlman just completed his senior year at UMD, where he was the captain.
Kuhlman's Bulldogs beat Notre Dame to win the NCAA men's tournament this past weekend.
In that tournament, Kuhlman was named Most Outstanding Player. He had a goal and assist in the 2-1 title win on Saturday.
The Minnesota native played 166 games for UMD, recording 39G-41A-80PTS totals.
In his senior season, he put up 13G-7A-20PTS totals in 44 games.
