BOSTON, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, July 13, that the team has signed defenseman Colin Miller to a two-year, one-way contract worth an average annual value of $1 million. Sweeney also announced that the team has signed defenseman Joe Morrow to a one-year, one-way contract worth $800,000.
Miller, 23, completed his first season with the Bruins in 2015-16, splitting time between Boston and Providence. At the NHL level, the 6-foot-1, 196-pound defenseman tallied three goals and 13 assists for 16 points (T-6th among all rookie blueliners) with 39 penalty minutes in 42 games.
