The Bruins have apparently been active in the land of Sverige, starting with a transaction to bring MODO Hockey’s Victor Berglund onto the Providence Bruins, according to EliteProspects.com and Local swedish media:
Berglund, a right-handed defender, was selected by the Bruins in the 2017 7th round at 195th overall. This year, he’s had 13 points in 50 games for MODO as they attempted (and failed) to get promoted. His final game with MODO was a 3-2 loss to Västerås HK.
His presence for the P-B’s couldn’t be more needed, as the near-rotating cast of extremely injured players could use a healthy body or two of any kind, and bolsters Boston’s somewhat shallow RHD depth.
