MONTREAL — The Bruins, on a six-game heater after a wild 6-4 win over Pittsburgh Monday, had a fresh face in the mix. To make room for Zach Senyshyn, recalled to the Bell Centre for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop, the Bruins placed Par Lindholm (upper body) on injured reserve.
Coach Bruce Cassidy said Senyshyn could swap in for Cameron Hughes, who debuted Monday (9:53, one shot attempt, kept his shifts short), or Brett Ritchie, should the latter’s infected cut not allow him to play in back-to-back matches.
Senyshyn, the third of Boston’s consecutive first-round picks in 2015 (Jakub Zboril 13th, Jake DeBrusk 14th), appeared in the final two games last season, scoring a goal in his debut in Minnesota April 4.
