“Oh wow, huge signings! Great news! What a great move by the Bruins!”
There, we got the snarkiness out of the way for you. Now, on to the actual news...
The Bruins announced this afternoon that they’ve re-signed defenseman Jakub Zboril to a two-year contract and that they’ve signed forward Greg McKegg and goalie Callum Booth to one-year deals.
Zboril’s deal carries a $725,000 cap hit at the NHL level. Notably, it’s a one-way contract, not the two-way deal players usually sign when the plan is for them to be shuffled back and forth.
