You know how there's always that one person who insists the Bruins should convert Torey Krug to a forward?
Today's kind of like their knock-off Christmas!
Per the team, the Bruins practiced with some...unorthodox lines today:
Why yes, that is defenseman Connor Clifton filling in at 3RW!
Brett Ritchie missed practice today, so in all likelihood, Clifton only played in that spot so the Bruins could run with 4 full lines.
Per Conor Ryan, Clifton has played forward relatively recently. However, if the Bruins need a forward due to injury, they'd probably be better off just recalling a forward from Providence.
