Bruins owner donates $30M to Buffalo university

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo has received a $30 million donation from the family of the Boston Bruins owner and will name its medical school after them.

The donation from the family of Jeremy Jacobs was announced Monday. In addition to owning the Bruins, Jacobs is chairman of the Buffalo-based food service company Delaware North.
