WILMINGTON — The Bruins didn’t waste much time in signing their top draft pick, inking defenseman Jakub Zboril to a three-year entry level contract yesterday.
Taken 13th overall, the Czech-born Zboril is expected to go back to Saint John of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League after posting 13 goals and 20 assists in his first season in North America.
European scout P.J. Axlesson saw him in the Ivan Hlinka Tournament last summer and saw him at the world championships in the spring.
“I really like his mobility. He can move, and he’s got a great first pass.
