WILMINGTON — There hasn’t been a lot of good news for the Bruins in the first week of the season, but there was yesterday: Brad Marchand was back on the ice just three days after suffering a concussion.
For a change, it appears a Bruins player suffered a concussion that was not too severe.
“I feel pretty good,” Marchand said after skating and competing fairly hard in the quick practice while wearing a green non-contact jersey. “Now it’s just about trying to get back as fast as I can. You never know. These things are day-to-day. You can feel good for a few days and then take a step back.
