Bruins name Judd Sirott as new TV Play-by-Play announcer

The wait is over, and it appears the Bruins have decided to go in-house for a new Play-by-Play man for their NESN productions.

The Bruins announced today that Judd Sirott of 98.5 The Sports Hub will be joining NESN’s broadcasts of the B’s alongside Andy Brickley as the replacement for the legendary Jack Edwards, who retired this year:

The Illinois-born Sirott has a wealth of hockey-calling experience: From being the broadcaster for the Chicago Wolves throughout the 2000’s, a brief stint as the lead-in announcer for the Blackhawks on WGN-AM, and has been calling B’s games for 98.
