After a frustrating 1-0 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Sunday, help is on the way for the Bruins: both Brad Marchand and Brandon Carlo are slated to return to action tonight.
Marchand, who has missed the past few games due to COVID protocols, may need final testing clearance to play, but appears to be on track.
Carlo is good to go after recovering from his concussion; this will be his first game since March 5.
Bruce Cassidy also confirmed that Jaroslav Halak will start in net.
Here's what to expect, based on the morning skate:
Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak
Nick Ritchie - David Krejci - Craig Smith
Anders Bjork - Charlie Coyle - Zach Senyshyn
Anton Blush - Trent Frederic - Karson Kuhlman
On defense, it looks the like BU Pair of Matt Grzelcyk and Charlie McAvoy will break up with Carlo's return.
