BOSTON, MA - The Boston Bruins issued the following update on goaltender Jonas Gustavsson:
"The final testing is complete and all results have been reviewed by the Bruins Medical Staff. Jonas has been cleared to resume full on-ice participation with the team without any restrictions."
Subsequently, Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced that the team has activated Gustavsson off Injured Reserve and assigned goaltender Malcolm Subban to Providence.
Gustavsson, 31, has appeared in 15 games for Boston in the 2015-16 campaign, accruing a 9-3-1 record while posting a 2.
