Bruins’ Hampus Lindholm starts skating, but return date from injury still uncertain

A reeling Bruins team received some good news on Tuesday, as defenseman Hampus Lindholm was spotted skating for the first time since suffering a lower-body injury back on Nov. 12.

The 30-year-old defenseman took to the ice at TD Garden before Boston’s morning skate — held hours ahead of the team’s matchup against the Edmonton Oilers.

Tuesday stood as another step in the right direction for Lindholm, although interim head coach Joe Sacco noted after practice that the blueliner still has no set return date for game action.

“There’s still no timeline right now,” Sacco said.
