The Bruins will have reinforcements on the blue line for what is shaping up to a physical slugfest against the Panthers on Friday night.
After Friday’s morning skate at TD Garden, Bruins coach Jim Montgomery revealed that defenseman Andrew Peeke will be available for Game 3 later that evening. The 26-year-old missed the last seven games after taking a puck off his hand during Game 2 against the Maple Leafs on April 22.
Peeke, acquired by Boston from Columbus at the trade deadline, should add some D-zone heft and snarl to the Bruins’ third pairing against a physical Panthers team.
