Boston, MA – The Boston Bruins Foundation has pledged a $45,000 grant to FRAXA Research, a nonprofit organization supporting scientific research for treating and ultimately curing Fragile X syndrome, for 2015 and another $45,000 grant for 2016. The $90,000 total donation is one of the largest donations in FRAXA’s 21-year history. The award will enable the organization to fund an entirely new research project aimed at developing new treatments for Fragile X.
