Bruins development camp concluded Friday afternoon, finalizing a three-day stretch in which the team had some of its prospects practice with camp invites to get some summer skating in and afford players the chance to make an impression on management and the coaching staff.
The three day camp consisted of practices and a scrimmage, so it is important to not overvalue results and keep everything in context. Nonetheless, here are some observations and notes from the week:
- Oskar Steen, fresh off of a breakout season with Farjestad BK of Sweden’s first division where he finished tenth in the league in scoring (17-20—37 in 46 games), looked vastly improved.
