BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, February 27, that the club has assigned forward Tyler Randell to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League) for conditioning and has placed forward Max Talbot on waivers.
Randell, in the midst of his first full NHL season, has skated in 25 games with Boston in 2015-16, registering five goals for five points with 47 penalty minutes. He registered his first NHL goal in his first NHL game against the Colorado Avalanche on October 14, 2015.
In parts of four seasons with Providence, the 24-year-old forward totaled 17 goals and 16 assists for 33 points with 314 penalty minutes in 170 games.
