BOSTON - Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, January 2, that the club has assigned forwards Alexander Khokhlachev and Seth Griffith to the Providence Bruins (American Hockey League) and has recalled defenseman Colin Miller.
Khokhlachev has skated in five games with Boston this year and the 22-year-old has appeared in nine games in a Bruins uniform in his NHL career. This season in Providence, Khokhlachev has played in 22 games, tallying nine goals (tied for third on the team) and 16 assists (second on the team) for 25 points (second on the team).
