BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins announced the launch of “The Bear & the Gang” animated shorts which will premiere on the organization’s new children’s television series “Bruins Academy” on Sunday, December 20 at 3:30 PM on NESN as well as online at BearShorts.com and across the Bruins social channels. “The Bear & the Gang” animated shorts are created by Arnold Worldwide and animated by award-winning illustrator J.J. Sedelmaier.
Sedelmaier, most famously known for his “TV Funhouse” animated work on “Saturday Night Live”, “Beavis and Butthead,” and “Adult Swim,” created the series in the single-cell animated styling of legendary shows like “Scooby-Doo,” “The Flintstones,” and “The Jetsons,” evoking a fun, child-like feeling of classic Saturday morning cartoon shows.
