Brianna Decker named NWHL player of the week

Decker's hat trick against the Connecticut Whale on Sunday earned her POTW honors for the second time this season.

The NWHL awarded Brianna Decker with her second Player of the Week nomination on Tuesday afternoon. Decker joins the Buffalo Beauts' Kelley Steadman as the only players who have received the honor twice.

Decker has been one of the Pride's leading offensive forces all season as a member of the league's most productive line. So far she has tallied 27 points (13 goals, 14 assists) and trails only co-captain Hilary Knight in those categories on the league leaderboards.
