Brandon Carlo scored his first goal in nearly 22 months

The young Bruins defenseman has had a rough go of it lately. Injuries ended his 2017 season early, and injuries came calling again at the end of 2018.

Along with all of those injuries, Carlo was going through quite a scoring drought.

His last goal came on March 4...of 2017. Yikes! That’s a scoring drought of 21 months and 10 days.

But tonight, that long drought came to an end in the second period, when Carlo’s slapper beat Casey DeSmith.

You can tell by the celebration that Carlo is happy to get off the schneid.
