Entering Tuesday’s pivotal matchup with the Lightning, Brad Marchand was one of five Bruins to appear in all 80 games. It is likely that list will be down to four entering Game 81 against the Senators.
The ugly side of Marchand couldn’t have come at a worse time. In a scoreless game late in the first period, the veteran speared Lightning defenseman Jake Dotchin beneath the waste to earn himself a game misconduct.
