The Boston Pride split their weekend exhibition series in Minnesota, getting a 5-1 victory over the Whitecaps on Saturday night and narrowly losing, 5-4, on Sunday afternoon. Saturday’s contest was the type of showing we’ve come to expect from the Pride, featuring a flurry of goals on the offensive end and a strong goalkeeping performance from Brittany Ott in net.
Northeastern alumna and NWHL All-Star Game hopeful Rachel Llanes opened the scoring on Saturday night, receiving a great pass from Emily Field and using her unreal speed to cash in on the breakaway.
