After playing ten games for the Detroit Red Wings this season, their organization decided to send Landon Ferraro down to the AHL. The Boston Bruins picked him up, and it turned out to be a good decision for the Bruins. Ferraro (along with fellow young players Noel Acciari and Frank Vatrano) helped bring back the concept of an energy line to the Bruins bottom set of forwards.
