Boston Bruins Prospects: Jake DeBrusk And Jeremy Lauzon Memorial Cup Aspirations

Over the weekend, some of the Boston Bruins’ more highly-touted prospects continued their quest to win the CHL’s top honor, the Memorial Cup. Both Jake DeBrusk — The Bruins’ 14th overall draft pick from the 2015 NHL Entry Draft — and Jeremy Lauzon — The Bruins’ 52nd overall draft pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft — are set to play for their respective teams as they attempt to reach their goal.

Jake DeBrusk lived up to his name immediately this weekend, notching one goal and adding three assists in two games. In the head-to-head match-up between DeBrusk’s Red Deer Rebels’ and Lauzon’s Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, it was DeBrusk who came out on top in both points and with the win.
