Boston Bruins prospect Zachary Senyshyn has had some very bad luck lately. After missing the Bruins Development Camp in July due to mononucleosis, he’s also set to miss the Bruins rookie camp. The Bruins announced Monday that Senyshyn had underwent a successful appendectomy Sunday.
While this surgery will keep Senyshyn out of the Bruins rookie camp, he will report to the Bruins main training camp. After being taken with the Bruins third 1st round draft pick last season, many are longing to see Senyshyn’s development to this point in his career. Senyshyn broke out in a big way last season, and there’s no doubt he wants to continue his development trending in the same direction.
