The Boston Bruins got robbed by the refs with an exceptionally questionable call in the final minutes of the third period. B’s forward Dominic Moore was penalized for nothing more than out playing his Leafs counterpart.
It was a bad call. A rather stupid call. A call that made me once again believe that professional refs should submit to even more random drug screenings.
Unfortunately, that just led the flood gates of negative puck luck for the Black and Gold. The B’s gave up a late power play goal and two empty net goals to hand the Toronto Maple Leafs a 4-2 win.
