Boston Blades lose to Inferno

In their last game of the season against Calgary, the Blades were unable to beat the Inferno.

The final score of the Boston Blades 4-1 loss against the Calgary Inferno on Sunday may be a little deceptive. In their final game against the league's top team, the Blades were able to compete, despite the lopsided shot total, playing arguably their best game against Calgary this year.

"I think we're really starting to compete. We really came out there fighting hard," said Blades Assistant Captain Kristina Brown after the game.

Boston, who have had difficulties seceding a lot of goals early to Calgary in the past, held the Inferno to just two goals going into the third period.
