The Boston Bruins, looking to add depth on the back line as they battle for playoff positioning in the NHL Eastern Conference, have landed one of the most notable defenseman on the trade market.
Two days before the league's trade deadline, the Anaheim Ducks sent veteran defensemen Hampus Lindholm to the Bruins for a sizable package that includes Boston's first-round pick in this summer's draft.
Boston also sent defensemen Urho Vaakanainen, John Moore, and second-round selections in 2023 and 2024 to complete the deal. The Bruins also acquired defenseman Kodie Curran in the package from Anaheim.
