Best & worst Bruins moves of the Peter Chiarelli era

The Bruins dismissed general manager Peter Chiarelli after nearly nine years of service. In that time, Chiarelli’s teams went to two Stanley Cup finals, winning one, and won a Presidents’ Trophy. Of his many moves, here’s a look at three of the best and three of the worst:

THREE BEST

June 22, 2010: Dennis Wideman and a first- and third-round pick to the Panthers for Nathan Horton and Gregory Campbell

Skinny: Horton was immense in the Bruins’ Stanley Cup run that upcoming season, scoring winners in Games 5 and 7 against Montreal and Game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals against Tampa Bay.
