The Bruins announced today that 19-year-old Swedish defenseman Axel Andersson is heading to the QMJHL this season.
Mark Divver had this news yesterday, but the B's confirmed it today.
Axel Andersson to Moncton only a matter of time, IMO. Believe that's been the plan all along. Playing go-to minutes against his peers should set up him up to hopefully play for Sweden at WJC

He'll be playing for the Moncton Wildcats, who count Brad Marchand (2005-2006) as one of their alumni.
