Don Sweeney announced earlier today that the Bruins have recalled Anton Blidh on an emergency basis. This is a “just in case” scenario it seems. He will probably be sent back down without playing a game.
He has 9 goals and 13 assists in 59 games in Providence this season.
Update: It looks like he may be playing after all. Rick Nash did not come out for warmups. He will wear number 81.
