Anders Bjork is out for the season after shoulder surgery

The Bruins made an injury announcement this morning: Anders Bjork had surgery on his left shoulder, and is out for the remainder of the season.

The official timetable is 5 to 6 months, which brings him to late June, even in the most optimistic scenario.

It's a tough break for Bjork, who saw a promising start to last season derailed by injury as well.

How did he get hurt?

Anders Bjork fell awkwardly on his arm/shoulder after being knocked down vs. Hershey on 12/30. Was back on ice at P-Bruins practice not long after but something wasn't right.
