Bruins fans were treated to early trade-deadline news when general manager Don Sweeney acquired 26-year-old forward Charlie Coyle from the Minnesota Wild Wednesday in exchange for forward Ryan Donato and a fifth-round draft pick.
In 60 games this season, Coyle has scored 28 points.
