The Bruins welcomed a diverse roster of 29 players from the collegiate and junior ranks to this year’s camp, including all five of their 2018 draft picks: Curtis Hall, Jakub Lauko, Pavel Shen, Axel Andersson and Dustyn McFaul.
During the two separate practice sessions, the newly selected prospects got a taste of what competing at the professional level is like and participated in numerous drills focusing on skating, speed and agility.
McFaul, the Bruins sixth-round selection, described it as a tiring but helpful and awesome experience. The 6-foot-2 defenseman from Waterdown, Ontario was somewhat surprised to find out about his selection during his graduation party.
