Watchlist season is here, and you, dear reader, may as well be included.

Though ultimately meaning little, these lists often give a glimpse into some of college football’s top returning talent, and that Boise State is often on plenty of them.

On Monday, the first watchlists were released — Boise State senior quarterback Brett Rypien and senior cornerback Tyler Horton are on the Maxwell (top overall player) and Bednarik Award (top defensive player) lists, respectively.
