The news hit yesterday, but was understandably lost in the flurry of recruiting updates...Bronco great Gabe Franklin ('04) is returning to Boise to help coach up the DBs after 5 years at UTEP. Franklin's 18 career INTs were the best of the "golden era" at Boise State until Darian Thompson came around, and he's been bouncing around the coaching ranks ever since.
Broncos recruiting class tops in the MWC...again
247 Composite says the Broncos had the best 2016 recruiting class, and Scout.com agrees. 247 has the Broncos with 23 three-star commits (out of 28—they counted Niumatalolo and mid-year enrollees).
