I never did much like Stewart Mandel’s (who is apparently back at SI now?) takes on G5 teams, and this is no exception. All G5 schools are disqualified from this list in the playoff era. But if they weren’t, and the CFB hierarchy were reduced to a feudal system, BSU would be ‘knights’.

One of the more underrated Boise State DBs, IMO
