For the second straight year, Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien has been named to the Walter Camp Award watchlist, which is given annually to the nation’s top player.
Rypien also is among those on the watchlists for the Maxwell Award, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, the Wuerffel Trophy and the Davey O’Brien Award. There are 40 players on the Walter Camp watchlist, three from the Mountain West. The other two in addition to Rypien are San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny and Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen.
