College football coaching staffs will soon be allowed to have 10 full-time assistant coaches starting next week. Boise State will fill the opening with the promotion of Spencer Danielson from a graduate assistant.
Danielson spent last season coaching the Broncos’ STUD ends, and will continue to do so. The defensive end/linebacker hybrids posted a huge 2017, with redshirt freshman Curtis Weaver and junior Jabril Frazier combining for 17 sacks.
“Spencer worked hard this last season to help our defense take the next step,” Boise State coach Bryan Harsin said in a statement. “His hard work did not go unnoticed.
