Boise State (2-1) and Wyoming (2-2) meet in both teams’ Mountain West football conference opener Saturday in Laramie, Wyo. Follow the action here:
Wildfires around the Laramie area have created a smoky atmosphere at War Memorial Stadium, enough to prompt officials to discuss the air quality and the safety of players. It has bordered on unsafe leading up to kickoff, and if it is deemed unsafe 5 minutes before kick, the game will be delayed until it improves.
If a quarter begins, it will be played fully, and then the air quality will be assessed afterward. Boise State played under similar circumstances last season at Washington State.
