After a sterling rookie season that ended somewhat unceremoniously on Saturday against the Rams, Leighton Vander Esch certainly had a lot to look back on with pride. The least of which was his selection as a second-team All-Pro. Still, many thought The Wolf Hunter should’ve landed on the Pro Bowl squad, and about an hour ago...that’s just where he landed.
You’ve probably heard about all of Vander Esch’s exploits already, but now that the Cowboys season is over, they probably bear repeating (sorry, WOLF repeating). As a rookie (and one without an entire season of starts under his belt), LVE ended his year with 154 tackles, 2 INTs, and 7 PBUs.
