Former Boise State quarterback named offensive coordinator at Washington

Former Boise State quarterback Bush Hamdan was named offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Washington on Sunday.

Hamdan is the quarterbacks coach for the Atlanta Falcons, with whom he will finish the season. He has served in a variety of roles at Washington (2015-16), Davidson, Arkansas State, Florida, Sacramento State, Maryland and Colorado since spending the 2004 through 2008 seasons as a backup quarterback for the Broncos.

He was the co-offensive coordinator (with Eliah Drinkwitz) and quarterbacks coach at Arkansas State in 2013 under current Boise State coach Bryan Harsin, who was his position coach for three years in Boise.
