Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi was forced out of Thursday's game with a chest injury. However, not before a very impressive performance. Ajayi carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and caught two passes for 37 yards. He had reportedly fallen behind in training camp but a strong case for longer look in the team's preseason finale. He is projected as the RB3 and will compete for the RB2 job.
FANTASY ANALYSIS
His pass-protection is still suspect, nevertheless, he looked great at everything else. Granted, it wasn't against first-stringers but he was impressive nonetheless. There is no word on the injury, however, it doesn't appear to be serious.
