The stalemate between defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence and the Dallas Cowboys lasted longer than both probably liked, but the result made for some happy people Friday.
According to multiple reports, Lawrence, who played in college at Boise State, has agreed to a five-year, $105 million deal with the Cowboys. That makes him the third-highest-paid defensive player in the NFL based on average salary, behind only the Bears’ Khalil Mack and Rams’ Aaron Donald.
