The Broncos have had a rough out of conference slate that made for some tough sledding. Thankfully the conference schedule is looking like it will help provide some confidence—and wins—for the team.
Derrick Alston chose a pretty decent night to have a career (so far) game and chose a good team to do it against in the San Diego State Aztecs.
The redshirt sophomore from Houston had himself a night as he dropped 30 points for the Broncos to go along with four rebounds and an assist.
Alex Hobbs also provided some points as well with 18 and five rebounds (second-most for the Broncos).
