In front of a sellout crowd, the Broncos looked to advance their Mountain West Conference agenda of winning a lot of their games. With dreams of Coach Leon Rice wading through a very Boise River the home crowd would be pumped to see the Broncos take a much-needed win against a formidable San Diego State squad.
The Broncos wanted to put on a show for the home crowd. And Chandler Hutchison would lead the way in super-star fashion. Hutchison managed to score Boise State’s first 16 points. He could do no wrong as he would go 4-6 from three and 9-13 from the field in the first half.
