No reason for a play-by-play here...the Broncos were just not the better team today in Las Vegas and fell to the surprise darling San José Spartan team in their fourth straight title appearance (ours, not theirs...it was their first). Boise State couldn’t get the offense going early or really ever in this one as San José bottled up the BSU run game (missing George Holani) and didn’t allow many big plays through the air either. Along the way, Boise State lost Khalil Shakir (one of the only offensive weapons), got yet another punt return TD from Avery Williams to give the Broncos some hope, but the hope was dashed when the Spartans answered the bell late.
