It wouldn’t be a Boise State-Colorado State game unless there were a few late twists and turns. And for the second-straight time, it was Leon Rice and the the Broncos coming out on top.
Boise State saw its first half lead of 19 points get cut to three at halftime and its 10-point second half lead cut to just a point with a minute remaining on Tuesday. Through it all, however, sophomore Paris Austin and Boise State remained composed, hitting big shots down the stretch to seal a 79-76 win over the Rams at the Moby Center.
Austin hit six key free throws down the stretch to seal the win and led the Broncos with 25 points.
